Al-Hokair Launches, "Efrah wi Farahom," Event for the Development of Public Awareness about Disabilities

 

Al-Hokair Group's, CEO, Majid A. Al-Hokair, has confirmed that its "Rejoice and Bring Them Joy" event was a success, adding a new dimension to festivities, through the joyful participation of disabled children. He pointed out that the Group will provide a portion of the proceeds from tickets, in support of the Disabled Children's Association. 

 

In addition, Al-Hokair Group Tourism and Development signed an agreement with the Disabled Children's Association, in cooperation of their," Rejoice and Bring Them Joy" initiative, which will run for one year and allocate part of its proceeds to fund social and rehabilitative welfare programs at a number of centers in several regions or the Kingdom. 

 

He added that the agreement aims at providing joy through fun and entertainment for disabled children in Al-Hokair's entertainment centers in all cities of the Kingdom. He also stressed that Al-Hokair Group is keen in supporting and participating in social responsibility activities, especially welcoming projects that support children and offer guidance through fun and entertainment for the community that, in turn will uplift the country. 

 

Furthermore, the event also included programs such as a poem for disabled children. The children were also presented with "Rejoice and Bring Them Joy" cards in a large gathering. As well as the, "Try the Chair," program, which launched in the presence of several Al-Hokair and the Disabled Children's Association employees, to give people a chance to experience life in a wheelchair. 

 

At the conclusion of the event, free charge cards were distributed to the children to enjoy Al-Hokair's entertainment center, Metropolis, located in the Panarama Mall.
