Holiday Inn Jeddah Gateway Hotel Hosts an Iftar for Disabled Children and their Families

Holiday Inn Jeddah Gateway Hotel hosted an Iftar for a number of disabled children and their families the cooperation agreement that was signed between Jeddah’s King Abdullah bin AbdulAziz Center for Disabled Children Care  and the hotel.
The agreement included a “Stay & Care” program, which was inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Disabled Children's Association in 2013. The program includes inviting guest who are staying at any of AlHokair Group’s hotel ro donate 5 Riyals for the Disabled Children's Association. All proceeds go to funding the association’s rehabilitation centers, which are available in different regions of the Kingdom.
The agreement also included hosting charitable Iftar and Sohoor in addition to partnering up with King Abdullah bin AbdulAziz Center for Disabled Children Care as a catering sponsor in any of their events.
Dr. Zuhair Maimani, the Director of King Abdullah bin AbdulAziz Center for Disabled Children Care in Jeddah, was delighted to sign this partnership and thanked the management of the hotel and all those who support it, pointing out that the aim of this partnership is for all of us to unite and promote the social responsibility of helping disabled children.
He also thanked AlHokair Group for their warm and generous hospitality in offering their facilities to them throughout the year in order to spread joy and happiness amongst disabled  children, whether it is through their hotels or their entertainment centers.  
For his part, Wajdy AlSha’ar, the Director of the Holiday Inn Jeddah Gateway Hotel, stated that such agreement and partnership stems from the teachings of our religion, and our social responsibility, which is at the heart of all AlHokair Group facilities.
He added that such an agreement would strengthen the relationship between the hotel and the center in order to provide excellent services to this popular category of children in the hope of easing their pain and drawing a smile on their faces. He then thanked the Disabled Children's Association with all it centers across the kingdom for their tremendous efforts in  integrating this special category back into the community as well as providing with all means of joy and happiness.
