April 6, 2013: Al-Hokair Group for Tourism and Development was honored by winning two prestigious awards from the Organizing Committee of the Travel and Tourism Investment Market Forum, under the organization of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) at a Gala Awards ceremony on Tuesday.
Al-Hokair Group received the first award for the "Best Outstanding Contribution to Tourism," while also scooping the "Best 3-Star Hotel," for the Golden Tulip Hotel Nasiriyah Riyadh, among all the Kingdom's hotels.
Upon accepting the awards, Majid Al-Hokair, Vice Chairman of Al-Hokair Group commended HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman, Head of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, on his concrete efforts of developing a Kingdom-wide tourism renaissance.
"The awards being present by this Forum are aimed at developing a competitive and professional tourism and hospitality industry in the Kingdom."Al-Hokair said.
He added that the Group has laid down plans to upgrade in efforts of providing services aimed at satisfying customer's needs. In addition to launching a marketing campaign to promote these services in order to achieve the ambitions and aspirations of clients and further succeed in meeting their needs.
To date, these services have been successful for more than fifty years, with Al-Hokair becoming a household name and well-known friend of the families of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Hokair further stressed that the Group is currently concentrating on developing and updating many of their hotels, resorts and recreational centers to reflect more security and uphold the principles of safety, along with the plan to launch many new tourist facilities in the coming period.
