A Partnership Agreement has been Signed Between Al- Hokair Institute and "Munafah" to Train 200 Young Saudis in Hotel Services

 

Riyadh: Al- Hokair Higher Institute for Training has signed a partnership agreement with the Movenpick Hotels for Training and Recruitment (Munafah) to train 200 Saudis in hotel services. The agreement was signed by Majid Al-Hokair, Executive Vice President for Al-Hokair Institute and Yasser Al-Sharif, CEO of Movenpick Hotels Holding Group.

 

Al-Hokair explained that the agreement aims towards Saudization of hotels and tourism, as it is considered a continuation of the cooperation between the Institute and Munafah Group, which will offer staff training in multiple programs, including food and beverage service and food production and hospitality arts, in general.

 

"This agreement is part of a national project with the Human Resources Development Fund, known as "Training Ends in Employment" to support young Saudis through training and rehabilitation for various jobs." Al-Hokair said.

 

He further noting that the Institute offers training activities and unique developmental services in the hospitality service sectors, productivity and business sector in the Kingdom. With the aim of rehabilitating and developing, the skills of the national workforce to implement state policies aimed at localization of jobs and replacement of foreign workforce by national labor inflows.

 

Al-Hokair said that the agreement comes within the framework of scientific and practical services offered by the institute through different educational preparation, design and implementation of joint programs, specifically addressed to the Saudi youth in need occupations of various sectors. 

 

For his part, Sharif welcomed the signing of such an agreement with the Institute, praising its role in supporting qualified Saudi youth market and working in the field of hospitality and tourism.

 

He pointed out that this agreement comes within the framework of the implementation of the Holding Group's growth and training plan, as part of its ongoing quest to be one of the leading companies in its field in the Kingdom, and increase to continue the company's contribution to the national economy, in light of the economic boom being experienced by the Kingdom, today
